Spotted this whilst standing in the queue at the Spar this weekend and I must say, it was the packaging that made me spend, er… whatever it cost. As far as gum goes, this has to be the hottest packaging yet:
Yeah? Hot eh?
It gets even better… They’ve done like a kind of matchbox opening effect that gives you 2 neat rows of individually wrapped gum.
In terms of flavor, its not as vicious as Airwaves, but it holds its flavor for a surprising amount of time, and lets face it, that’s what you’re after – something that lets you chew it for a couple hours, not something that takes your face off for 2 minutes and then becomes a piece of cardboard.
I’m not marketing guru, but IMO its this kind of repackaging that makes people take notice of a brand/product/item that doesn’t have much in the way of brand loyalty. Nice going.
